Summer Camp Opportunities:
Grades K-3 | Grades 4-6 | Grades 7-8 | Grades 7-9 | Grades 7-12 | Grades 9-12 | Grades 10-12 | Family Camp
Work Camp | Full Summer Camp Schedule

Day Camp takes place at Camp Donegal’s Koinonia Pavilion and runs Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. Activities include Bible study, swimming, arts & crafts, games, hiking, and more! Day Camp is a perfect introduction to camp for campers not yet ready for the overnight experience.

Adventure Camp is for campers completing grades 1 through 3. Adventure campers are housed in the Reformation Cabins. Adventure Camp #1 runs from Sunday through Tuesday. Adventure Camp #2 runs from Wednesday through Friday. Adventure Camp activities include Bible study, swimming, arts & crafts, games, hiking, and more! Adventure Camp is perfect for campers ready for overnight camp, but not ready for a full week.

Camps for Grades 3 and 4

Get crazy at camp! Each day has a different theme--like Backwards Day (dinner for breakfast, dessert first, backwards clothes, etc.). Each day is unique, creative and special-- just like our relationship with God. Enjoy all of the standard camp activities like swimming, hiking, Bible study, singing, vespers and campfire! Crazy Campers are housed in the Reformation Cabins.

Critter Camp is for campers completing grades 3 & 4. Critter campers are housed in the Reformation Cabins. Explore the amazing world of critters (mammals, reptiles, amphibians and insects...) that God created with activities from stream studies to searching for animal tracks. Learn from local environmental experts! Critter Campers will enjoy all of the standard camp activities like swimming, hiking, Bible study, singing, vespers and campfire!

Spend the week learning and playing games. Learn to handle competition--the winning and the losing--as Christians. Enjoy all of the standard camp activities like swimming, hiking, Bible study, singing, vespers and campfire! Summer Games campers are housed in the Reformation Cabins.

Camps for Grades 4 through 6

This mysterious camp will keep you on your toes! Expect surprises, day trips, lots of fun, life lessons, and more! Enjoy all of the standard camp activities like swimming, hiking, Bible study, singing, vespers and campfire! MMT Campers are housed in the Reformation Cabins.

Exercise your artistic muscle and learn to express your faith creatively! Activities include photography, music, art, drama, dance, weaving, and more! The week will wrap up on Friday evening with a 7pm variety show for family and friends. Enjoy all of the standard camp activities like swimming,hiking, Bible study, singing, vespers and campfire! Artistic Expression campers are housed in the Reformation Cabins.

Not sure which camp is for you? Sample a bit of many of them! Experience the water, the hiking, the mystery, the craziness, the artistic expression of several different camps rolled into one week. Enjoy all of the standard camp activities like swimming, hiking, Bible study, singing, vespers and campfire! Sampler campers are housed in the Reformation Cabins.

Camps for Grades 5 and 6

As a Pioneer Camper, you will live in the amazing new Wilderness cabins, cook your own food over a campfire, and enjoy this beautiful, remote location! Experience God's Creation in a new way. Enjoy all of the standard camp activities like swimming, hiking, Bible study, singing, vespers and campfire! Pioneer campers are housed in the Wilderness Camping Area.

Our focus this week is on water...swimming, boating, spraying, floating--as long as we can get wet! Aqua Mania Campers will enjoy all of the standard camp activities like swimming, hiking, Bible study, singing, vespers and campfire! Aqua Mania campers are housed in the Reformation Cabins.

Camps for Grades 7 through 9

As a Junior High Wilderness Camper, you will live in the amazing new Wilderness cabins, cook your own food over a campfire, and enjoy this beautiful, remote location! Experience God's Creation in a new way. Enjoy all of the standard camp activities like swimming, hiking, Bible study, singing, vespers and campfire! Junior High Wilderness Campers are housed in the Wilderness Camping Area.

This camp is about service to others, obtaining leadership skills and having fun in the process. S.A.L.T. campers will spend the week with hands-on experience at missionrelated projects both on and off camp property. S.A.L.T. campers enjoy all of the standard camp activities like swimming, hiking, Bible study, singing, vespers and campfire! S.A.L.T. campers are housed in Barmen Lodge.

Live in the amazing new Wilderness cabins, cook your own food over a campfire, enjoy this beautiful, remote location! No early mornings! Get up at noon, have breakfast for lunch and lunch for dinner! Plan on lots of night activities. Be sure to pack extra flashlight batteries! Enjoy all of the standard camp activities like swimming, hiking, Bible study, singing, vespers and campfire! Junior Night Owl Campers are housed in the Wilderness Camping Area.

Camps for Grades 7 through 12

Bicycle Campers are housed on Sunday night at Camp Donegal, and then leave Monday morning for a five-day bicycle tour of Donegal Presbytery. Bicyclers will be housed at different churches within the Presbytery each night. Led by our experienced cyclists and followed by a health and safety van, these youth will have a one-of-akind adventure and opportunity to bond in Christ-like fellowship with others on the trip.

Trailblazer Campers are housed on Sunday night in Barmen Lodge. Monday morning, after a supply run to the local grocery store, Trailblazers will drive to the Appalachian Trail where they will hike the Caledonia/Chimney Rock portion in central Pennsylvania. Carry your gear, pitch a tent, cook your food--this is true backpacking with our experienced guides in a beautiful location.

Camps for Grades 9 through 12

No early mornings! Get up at noon, have breakfast for lunch and lunch for dinner! Plan on lots of night activities. Be sure to pack extra flashlight batteries! Enjoy all of the standard camp activities like swimming, hiking, Bible study, singing, vespers and campfire! Senior Night Owl Campers will be housed in Barmen Lodge.

L.I.G.H.T. campers will gather at Camp Donegal on Sunday, and then head out for a week-long, hands-on mission project that will allow them to Live in Grace and Holiness Together. Through helping others, they will learn more about themselves and their faith. Plan on a week filled with God moments and growth!

Camps for Grades 10 through 12

Leaders in Development (LID) Campers will spend the week focused on personal faith development, group dynamics, and training in all areas of camp leadership. Upon completion of this one-week program, LIDs will be interviewed by Donegal Camp Committee Staff & Volunteer Development Team members. If approved by those team members, LIDs will be eligible to return for another week as a Counselor in Training. In order to apply, fill out the registration form and send along a letter of recommendation from your pastor. LID campers will be housed in Barmen Lodge.

In order to be eligible for the Counselor in Training (CIT) program, campers must have successfully completed the LID program. Living in the cabins with the campers, CIT’s will continue their training under the careful supervision of our trained staff. Participate in regular camp activities while developing your leadership skills and growing spiritually!

Family Camp

Time. Togetherness. Peace. These are three essential items that your family needs for growth. Camp Donegal's Family Camp Weekend was designed to provide your family with just that--as well as spiritual enrichment. We attempt to balance structured time and activities for children, youth and adults with freedom for families to relax and explore together. Come swim, hike, sing, and play with us! No cooking or advanced planning required-just a peaceful couple of days in the woods! Take this opportunity to unwind and appreciate the joys of Christian community and the magnificent beauty of God's creation all around you. We provide lodging, lessons, activities, meals, and worship. Arrive at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and stay through 11:00 a.m. on Sunday

Work Camp

This is an intergenerational opportunity for church groups (Sunday school, youth, men’s, women’s, etc.) to participate in a mission trip close to home. For more information, a list of projects, more information on costs, or to register, please contact the camp office: office@campdonegal.org
